Mike Baur

Throughout an enriching 20 years working in Swiss private banking, I have interacted with amazing entrepreneurs who fed my growing interest in entrepreneurship. In 2014, I decided to start on my journey and co-found my business, Swiss Start-up Group, as Managing Partner. Our business has now travelled far along the road and is the largest privately financed venture platform in Switzerland. In 2020, my experience in this area resulted in my 3rd appearance in the “top 100 Swiss digital shapers” list by Handelszeitung & Bilanz. I am passionate about start-ups and, to this day, I am always pleasantly surprised by the speed at which an excellent team can work to overcome any challenge in meeting their goals.

 

I joined Cardis Sotheby’s International Realty’s administrative board because their values are ones that I hold dear. Like a start-up, Cardis Sotheby’s International Realty remains current and embodies the vibrancy of a young shoot, full of energy and adaptability: they are able to constantly grow and always focus upon innovation, with the goal of delivering the best service and results possible to their clients.
